Thank You’s After the I Do’s

The I Do’s have been said, and you have returned home with a tan and some great honeymoon memories. But that doesn’t mean that the wedding duties are quite over yet. Although you are almost set to begin your life together as a couple, there are a few housekeeping tasks which you must take care of first.

One of the most important things that must be done in good time is the thank you note. Hopefully you have already had these ordered when you ordered your invitations, so you should be all set. The only thing you need to do is to sit down and take the time to write a thoughtful note to each guest not only for their gift, but also for attending your wedding. Although gifts are great, one should really appreciate their guests’ time and love that they shared with them on their wedding day. After all, without the presence of your friends and family the day would not have been half as magical.

A great idea is to bring them along on your honeymoon since there is a good chance you will have either a plane ride or a drive with some extra down time.
